3600 Archimedes là một tiểu hành tinh [[vành đai chính, belonging to Rafita family. Nó được phát hiện bởi Lyudmila Vasil'evna Zhuravleva ở 1978. Nó được đặt theo tên Archimedes, the ancient Greek scientist. Archimedes was also a famous nhà toán học who proved that ratio of a circle's perimeter to its diameter is the same as the ratio of the circle's area to the square thuộc radius (we nowadays call this ratio π).
